Berlin is also known as an ever-changing city, and it is composed of a large diversity of neighbourhoods. But there are also some other lesser-known facts that are worth mentioning, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data from the German Research Foundation (DFG) identifies Berlin as number 1 destination for research funding among German cities<\/li>\n<li>Berlin is on its way to becoming a fashion capital and attracts artists from all over the world<\/li>\n<li>Wannsee Beach is Europe&#8217;s largest inland water beach<\/li>\n<li>Berlin airport authority reported passenger numbers increasing by 7.7 % from 2010 to 2011<\/li>\n<li>Berlin is now a top 3 travel destination in Europe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the conference, the Festival of Lights will take place.
